What we offer

Faces is the designer's resource for fonts, picture fonts and clip art. Established in 1989 to serve the demand for digital typefaces, Faces has evolved to provide the graphic design industry with an ever increasing range of products and services. From single "off the shelf" fonts to custom designed and customised fonts to clip art.

We offer fonts from a vast number of foundries; including Adobe, Linotype, FontFont, Berthold, ITC and Monotype Imaging; leading independents such as Emigre, Font Bureau, Elsner & Flake, FontHaus and Red Rooster and smaller independents such as ABCType, 2Rebels, DTP Types, Jeremy Tankard Typography Ltd, and Club21. Many of these are available to view and purchase online.

Faces also offers custom design services. From digitising a simple logo to custom designing a corporate font family, the range of Faces' custom design services is backed by years of experience, some of the best designers and technicians in the industry and satisfied high-profile customers.

We will also guide you through the licensing maze to keep you legal. It doesn't matter whether you need to license a font for use on 1 or 50,000 computers (or more), Faces can assist you. In addition, we offer free confidential advice about all aspects of font licensing without obligation. We will answer your specific licensing questions; prepare quotes; help you to set up a complete font audit and follow through your request from initial inquiry to fulfilment of your order, complete with all the correct licences. for more information about licensing click here

If you've found a sample of a font that you would like to have but you are not sure if it is available, we may be able to help. With a good sample, we may be able to identify the font or, at least, suggest a good alternative. Helping you find a font can take a few minutes or it could take several days - there is no magic formula. In some cases we can spot and identify a font immediately but at other times it is a case of poring over the type books. You are welcome to fax or e-mail a good quality sample of a font and we will have a look at it. However if we cannot identify the font immediately, unfortunately we do not have the resources at present to spend time researching the font.

Our Guarantee

Faces provides no warranty to you regarding the Font Software except as may be set forth in the End User License Agreement between you and Faces that was entered into by you at the time you purchased the Font Software.

If you have a problem with any product supplied by Faces, simply contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods. If the goods are found to be faulty or, if at our discretion, we agree to take back goods for any other reason, Faces will raise a credit or supply a replacement as agreed.

 

However, Faces shall not be under any liablility in respect of goods which are altered, modified or repaired without Faces' consent or defects which arise wholly or partly as a result of negligence or improper handling by any person or any other cause outside the control of Faces

Faces prices the products it carries fairly because we have always been sensitive to the budgets of designers. We do our best to absorb minor price fluctuations due to exchange rate and manufacturers' price changes. However we reserve the right to change prices if necessary without prior notice.

Faces fonts are fully-licensed and meet the highest quality standards before release.

Service and Delivery

We will do all we can to help our customers. Because we have such a vast collection of digital fonts and images from so many suppliers, all under one roof, it is rare that we would not have what you are looking for. Our website represents just a part of what we have to offer. Our knowledgeable and friendly sales team can help you with just about any product request you have and e-mail it for same-day delivery or mail it to you. We send out orders by courier service. Where fonts are not available for download, we can usually email them to you.

 

Your Privacy

At Faces, we understand your need for privacy. The personal information we ask for when you place an order with us is kept confidential. We will not intentionally sell, rent or share your details with other parties without your permission. Your Online Order is SECURE

The details we ask you to give us to process your order is safe and secure.  We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128 Bit encryption technology on every transaction. In other words, each and every transaction you make with us online is unique and encrypted and therefore secure. However, we can not assure your security if you are not using Netscape 4.0 or later or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later as your web browser, as earlier browser versions only support 40 bit encryption.

VAT

 Please note that VAT is charged as follows: 

• UK Customers will be charged VAT at the current rate.

• Customers from other EU states including the Channel Isles and Gibraltar will not be charged VAT provided that they supply a valid VAT number. All VAT numbers will be validated automatically. Please include your VAT number when you register.

• Customers from the rest of the world will not be charged VAT.
