Your Online Order is SECURE

The details we ask you to give us to process your order are safe and secure.  We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption technology on every transaction. In other words, each and every transaction you make with us online is unique and encrypted and therefore secure.

We use a Verisign® SSL certificate with Server Gated Crypotography (SGC) providing almost every site visitor with the strongest SSL encryption available - regardless of browser version or OS. That's trillions of times stronger than other SSL encryption.

However, for your added security, w
e still strongly recommend that you use the latest web browsers incorporating the most up to date security. Whether you connect to the 128-bit encryption depends on the browser and operating system you use. Browsers such as Internet Explorer®, pre 3.02 and Netscape® prior to 4.02 cannot connect to 128 bit encryption. Slightly later browsers such as IE between 3.02 and prior to 5.5 and Netscape after 4.02 and to 4.72 enjoy 128-bit encryption only when the SSL Cetificate is enabled for SGC (as Faces use). The latest browsers - IE post 5.5 and Netscape after 4.72 - are capable of providing 128-bit encrypted sessions for both types of SSL certificate so long as the operating system allows it. Many Windows® 2000 systems will only set up 128-bit if the SSL certificate is SGC enabled. In particular any copy of Windows 2000 shipped prior to March 2001 that has not been subsequently upgraded with one of several Windows upgrade packs will suffer this limitation.

We have recently undertaken a full site security audit and also subscribe to AlertSite and run regular scans.
The AlertSite Security Vulnerability Scan identifies vulnerabilities in real-time, categorises the detected risks, and then provides recommendations and solutions for improvement. AlertSites powerful, up-to-date remote security scan ensures faces.co.uk is  free of known vulnerabilities and pass the SANS Top 20 Internet Security Vulnerabilities as defined by SANS, the FBI and FedCIRC.

A site that has passed the AlertSite Security Vulnerability Scan has also met the security scanning standards of the Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
